Introduction

During these times where death takes new human lives every day globally, there’s no time anymore for religious games. How can born-again Christians effectually fight against COVID-19 virus with spiritual weapons? How can they keep themselves protected and immune? Here is a quick practical guide that I apply myself every day.

Convince Your Mind that God Wants You Well, Healed, and Protected

God can and wants to keep you safe from the virus, and He wants to heal you specifically in case you already got infected. Moreover, through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, God has already paid for your healing and provided it in the spiritual and invisible realm all around us called the heavenly places. It’s there for you to grab it and receive it by faith in the Name of Jesus. It’s not God’s responsibility to heal you now, but yours. He already provided ALL that you need to live. Since God paid such a high price for your healing, that means He wants you to live and be healed way more than you are capable to receive.

Here are the core Bible passages to help you get convinced in your heart of the statements above: Romans 8:32, Matthew 8:16-17, Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24, Luke 5:17-26, Mark 16:15-18, Matthew 10:8.

Make Sure the Object of Your Faith is the Name of Jesus and not Yourself

Do you have the following thoughts in your mind when you try to pray against the Coronavirus for yourself, your family, or someone else affected by the disease? “I am not in a good spiritual shape right now”, “I have not fasted or prayed much lately”, “I have not read the Bible lately”, “I did horrible sins and I don’t stand a chance to pray for this”, ”who am I to pray for this?”, “I am just a sinner”, “I need someone else more spiritual to pray for me”, “I don’t have enough knowledge and experience in the spiritual realm”, “I don’t have enough faith”,“if I pray against this, something worse might happen to me, because I am dealing with demonic activity”, “I’ve never prayed for healing for someone”, “this is not for me”.

If you have these thoughts while preparing to grab healing from the spiritual realm for you or for someone else, please stop entertaining them immediately. Disconsider them completely! All these thoughts show that you trust in yourself, in your holiness, in your faith, in your capacity to release faith, or in your ability to heal and not really in the Name of Jesus. It will not work. The Name of Jesus is the real power performing the healing through you and it’s based ONLY on His holiness, His faith, and His righteousness. The Name of Jesus should be the object of our faith and the focus of your mind. Do not focus your mind on your faith to beat the sickness or on the sickness itself to try to not see it there. Jesus gave you His Name to use it as a power of attorney to heal yourself and others irrespective of how you feel or of your performance and righteousness. It does not matter if you feel small or inadequate spiritually. When you know how powerful is THE NAME and have faith in that NAME to perform the healing, that is what will work. It seems simple, but it’s not always easy to stop all those self-righteous thoughts shouting in your mind. In Acts 3:6, Peter said to the lame man: “Silver and gold I do not have, but WHAT I DO HAVE I give you: IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Then in verses 12 and 16 of the same chapter, Peter also said: “Why do you look so intently at us, as though BY OUR OWN POWER OR GODLINESS we had made this man walk? HIS NAME, THROUGH FAITH IN HIS NAME, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, THE FAITH WHICH COMES THROUGH HIM has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Peter had THE NAME and he simply trusted the power of that NAME, and not himself or his “eloquent” prayer.

Pray in Tongues Daily

I cannot emphasize enough how vital is for a born-again believer to pray in tongues daily. That was the first thing that God gave believers when the Holy Spirit made His big entrance in the New Testament era. He could have come with any other miracle or extraordinary event. Instead He chose speaking in tongues. Isn’t that interesting? It is the way we get help from the Holy Spirit. It is the way we draw out secret wisdom from God into our conscious mind, revelation, and insight for success in our daily lives. It is the way we shut up all those other self-righteous and carnal thoughts of unbelief and allow the pure faith in the Name of Jesus to flow naturally. Through speaking in tongues we intercede for other people and we speak mysteries in the spiritual realm (1 Corinthians 14:2). We enlarge the capacity of our hearts and minds to understand and assimilate more of the truth of the Word of God. We build our physical bodies, our immune system, and our emotions through speaking in tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:4 says that he that speaks in tongues edifies himself and Jude 20 says that we build ourselves in faith when we pray in the Spirit. What do we edify or build? It is certainly not our recreated spirit because that one is already perfect and born of the imperishable seed of the Word of God. However, we build our souls, our minds, and physical bodies to align themselves and conform to the reality of the Word of God and of our recreated spirit inside of us. Even the secular scientific research demonstrates the power of speaking in tongues in reducing stress and building our immune system (Speaking in Tongues: Glossolalia and Stress Reduction, The New York Times – A Neuroscientfic Look at Speaking in Tongues). Speaking in tongues is the true rest and refreshing of the soul, body and mind (Isaiah 28:9-13).

If you do not speak in tongues yet, but want to, you can start speaking NOW. The Bible says in Luke 11:11-13 that if a son asks his earthly father for a bread, he will not give him a stone. And if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a serpent. And if he asks for an egg, he will not offer him a scorpion. Then it says that “if you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

So, if you want to speak in tongues, go into your room, ask the Father to fill you with His Holy Spirit and to help you start speaking in tongues. Then thank Him for it and start speaking any words that come to your mind no matter how weird they sound, believing and being completely assured that what you speak, comes from the Holy Spirit. Remember that the Holy Spirit will not come and move your lips. You have to move your lips, start speaking, and then the Holy Spirit will begin form the words through your speaking. It may be a little uncomfortable at first, but the more you do it, the more you will get in a flow, become more comfortable in it and bold. You will begin forming the words of the Spirit better and better. By regular practice, you will develop your heavenly language and speak it fluently. No one has ever spoken a second language fluently from the beginning. This has been my experience, it worked, and I’ve never regretted it or looked back. You may receive thoughts that is not real, that the words are from you, or from the devil, when in fact it is the most powerful weapon given to you by God. Why? Because it’s one of the most foolish way for most people, even for many Christians, and it’s one that requires the most faith that the Holy Spirit actually speaks through you.

Speak Words of Faith and Words of Command Based on the Word of God

While you pray tongues, mingle your prayer in tongues with declarations of faith and command based on the Word of God and based on the rights that the gospel and Jesus’ sacrifice has given you in the realm of the Spirit. You do not beg and implore God to intervene, but you command the devil to stop this evil in the Name of Jesus, and the virus to die or go away.

For yourself and your household

“I will never be sick in my life in the Name of Jesus.”

“By Jesus’ stripes I have been healed once and for all and I walk and continuous health in Jesus’ Name.”

“I live by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and I am immune to any sickness. Coronvirus cannot ever touch or affect me. And if it dares to do so, it will die on contact.”

“A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but no disease will come near me or my household.”

“I have all authority in Christ Jesus to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt me by any means.”

“I am seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father in the invisible spiritual realm, FAR above any ruler, authority, power, or dominion, and far above any NAME that is named in this age and the ages to come. Coronavirus is a name of this age that I am FAR above in authority and power in Jesus’ Name.”

“In the Name of Jesus, I set a hedge of protection and healing all around myself, my wife, my children and my household. No matter where they go, they are all protected.”

For others that are already affected by the virus

Think about them and command the following even from the distance or from your home without touching or going to them. Jesus spoke the word from the distance and the centurion’s servant was healed in that very hour.

“In the Name of Jesus, Coronavirus I curse you to die right now in the body of John (name your friend). Die and never come back in this person’s body. John (name your friend), be healed right now and recovery immediately in the Name of Jesus of any effects of this virus, or pain, or discomfort. Thank you Father for your healing.”

For the world and against Coronavirus

“In the Name of Jesus, Coronavirus we command you to stop spreading in the world. We curse you to die right now from the roots and stop spreading and killing people.”

“Father God, we ask You in the Name of Jesus to give revelation and wisdom to doctors and scientists all over the world to find quickly a cure and a vaccine. We pray that You would speed up this process so that many lives will be saved. Thank you Father God!.”
